Lifes What You Make It

So its been a great couple months.

First my brother got married! Its weird to see my brother with a wedding ring and to now call Heather my sister-in-law. Ive never been so involved with a wedding before it now makes me second guess all the stuff I had planed for my wedding. I may just elope (when I find a man that is) It was a lot of fun and loved every minute of it!

Ive actually been working out some! Its an exercise dvd video called Flirty Girl Fitness. Now for those who really know me ive never worked out a day in my life, but im starting to now because these work out videos are fun, they make dances for y

ou and use fun moves. Its very enjoyable.

I went to Kings Island last week and went on my FIRST ROLLER COASTER EVER! I have really bad motion sickness so Ive never been on one. But 2 best girl friends invited me to go along with them so I went and took Dramamine hoping that would help, and IT DID!! I went on every single roller coaster there. The craziest one was the Dimondback its was insane! its 230ft tall and takes a 215ft drop that took you up to 80 mph. Im glad I finally had the guts to ride one :-)

Addiction

Well my favorite show is back for the summer, So You Think You Can Dance. There are so many reasons why I love this show but the main reason are the stories that they tell while they are dancing. While there are many amazing dances this has to be my favorite. It tells the story of addiction. The girl dancing is the addict and the guy dancing is the addiction. The dancing is done beautifully and there is so much power behind this dance. Enjoy!

Racing!

Ahhhhh racing. I really do love it! Most people dont know that about me. I love to sit at home on a Sunday afternoon and watch it. Indycar and Nascar. Both are so exciting! It bugs me when people say oh whats so exciting about watching cars go around in a circle, but its much more then that. If you know all the strategic moves it makes it very enjoyable.

I really wish I could have gone to the Indy 500 today, but I dont have the money to buy tickets. So I will just have to sit at home and listen to my radio to see what happens. Maybe I will do that while laying outside in the sun and get tan :-)

March Madness

I felt like the tile was appropriate for how March seems to be going for me right now. Didn't we just celebrate Valentine's Day yesterday? This month has gone by fast! Knowing that March is almost over that means April. April showers bring May flowers (and birthday presents) Which means that summer is so close I can smell it! Im ready for warm weather! I just got back from an AMAZING spring break trip to Florida and it was a blast. I got to hang out with my good friend Jennifer, who lives down there. It was so nice to finally hang out with her in warm weather. We stayed with Michelle Captain in her home. I am so blessed that she let us stay with her. It saved us a ton of money not having to pay for a hotel. The beach was nice and warm (minus the wind) and most days were warm. Did I mention it was WARM! ahhhhhh It was a much needed vacation!

Basketball is also on. I cant remember. How many Indiana teams were in the sweet 16? Thats right 2!!!!!! And Congrats to Butler for making it to the Elite 8! My good luck wishes are for you tonight Purdue!

Gotta Love Those Cats

I think they are pretty great. Well, I sure hope I do considering I have 4. Now im not as good as a story teller about little critters as my cousin Katie. Yes, I am calling her my cousin because I dont want to get into that technical cousin-my-marriage stuff. Shes married to my cousin, that makes her my cousin, end of story.

Annnnnyway! Last night I'm in my room getting ready for bed when I notice one

of my cat had something in his mouth. You know how people always say "If you have a mouse; get a cat" Well, its totally true..... Yes, my cat had a mouse hanging in his mouth, still alive.

Now I'm a softy when it comes to animals, I dont like seeing them hurt or dead no matter what kind it is. I use to have pet mice and loved them. But this kind of mouse I was not to crazy about to have in my room.

So I tried to get my cat to let go of it so I could trap it in a cup and set it free (no I didnt want to kill it) but that didnt go according to plan and it got lose again. Thankfully all my cats ran after it so I never lost sight of where it was *side note, I'm screaming and on a rolling chair this

whole time* I was finally able to trap it in a door between my room and the laundry room.

So I slid a piece of paper under it and set it free!!! My cats didnt understand that it was gone and continued trying to find it the rest of the night. I was finally able to sleep peacefully knowing that this little critter was not roaming around my room :-)
